CARE & USE GUIDE *

Follow these easy steps for best performance!

Pre-Chill your cooler!

(Remember, if your cooler is warm and if you don’t pre-chill, it will stay warm; the IceWall-designed insulation is fantastic!!)

Use one or two bags of ice, depending on your cooler box or bag size and design you have - get your cooler temperature down to 'cool to the touch' - and overnight if possible. When satisfied, empty this chilled ice out and begin packing. All food and beverages should have come from your home fridge, cold or preferably frozen, for optimum results.

Filling & Using Your Cooler

With your accessories packed in the cooler first, fill your cooler box or bag with ice. A minimum of 1/3 ice is needed - and for best results, you should try to get 2/3 ice to contents/ratio.

Fill your cooler as much as you can. You do not want any air space, as when opened, this has to be re-chilled and can lower your ice retention.

(Remember, keep your cooler closed as much as possible. Only open for as long as needed when placing items in or out, as this will reduce the ice retention times)

Pre-Use & Cleaning

Ensure all cooler surfaces inside and out are cleaned before and after each use. Gently clean around the cooler gasket to ensure no food or drink deposits are left. Don’t forget to clean and dry your plug (Store closed with plug inserted)

To prevent stains, ensure the cooler is stored empty, wiped dry between uses and kept closed for storage.

Use warm water with a mild detergent for general cleaning. Ensure no harsh chemicals or cleaners are used, which may damage or discolour your cooler box or bag.

Extra tips

Keep your cooler closed as much as possible. For example, if you have young children who will access your cooler continuously, consider a separate cooler for food and drinks.

Keep your cooler in a safe and dry location out of the sun when possible. Vehicle temperatures inside can be considerably hotter than outside, affecting your cooler performance.

Another great WhiteRock cooler.

Already had the 55 hard cooler but I'm heading out on some longer trips this summer so purchased the 78. Just got back from a 5-day off road adventure. I precooled the coolers and everything that went into them before loading them up. After 5-days both coolers still had ice in them and everything was still cold. Love the coolers and it being so easy to interact with their customer support is great.

Others I went with were checking my coolers out near the end of the trip as their coolers just weren't getting it done.

Amazing

We received this cooler for Christmas 2021. We finally got to use this last weekend for Thanksgiving. We packed up Wednesday, headed to the mountains. It was 25 plus each day we were there and sun hit it for a few hours a day. We came home Monday evening with frozen meat. Incredible!

Uh. Yea.

So. I've had this cooler since Tuesday, and as a test I stuck a 3lb tube of summer sausage in it (frozen).
I just took it out (Friday) and put it back in the freezer as it is still a solid block of meat.
Not to mention I also tested its size....and managed to fit an entire butchered whitetail in it....so for those that don't know, that was 98lbs of a variety of sausages...with TONS of room to spare.
Cooler #2 in the horizon? Yes.

Every outdoor enthusiast needs one of these!

I had the opportunity to use this cooler in the fall of 2020! The ice lasts an incredibly long time keeping everything cold. I love smoking ribs, chicken, roasts and brisket so one of the tricks when they're finished is to wrap them up in tinfoil & towels and place them in a cooler to rest and allow the juices to absorb back into the meat. Not only is this cooler a perfect size for a big feed, it's insulating properties keeps it warm for wayyyyy longer than a regular cooler. Well built and solid...if you don't have one....you need it!!
Well done White Rock!
